Introduction
Welcome to Nounou Nannies! By engaging with our services, you agree to the following Guidelines. Please read these guidelines carefully, as they outline the obligations and rights of both Nounou Nannies and our clients.
1. Definitions
Agency: Refers to Nounou Nannies.
Client: Refers to the family or individual engaging the Agency’s services.
Nanny: Refers to the caregiver introduced by the Agency to the Client.
Engagement: Refers to the hiring of a nanny introduced by the Agency, whether temporary, permanent, full-time, or part-time.
2. Registration and Fees
All Clients must complete the Agency’s registration form and pay the registration fee before any services commence.
The registration fee is non-refundable and covers administrative costs.
Placement fees apply upon the successful engagement of a nanny and are outlined in the Agency’s fee schedule.
3. Services Provided
The Agency will introduce candidates who meet the criteria specified by the Client.
While the Agency thoroughly screens all candidates, final hiring decisions and suitability assessments are the responsibility of the Client.
4. Candidate Screening
All candidates undergo background checks, reference verification, and personality assessments.
The Agency does not guarantee the accuracy of references or the behaviour of candidates during or after engagement.
5. Placement Guarantee
The Agency offers a replacement guarantee period, which is outlined in the Client Agreement. During this period, if the nanny engagement is terminated, the Agency will provide replacement candidates at no additional placement fee. Terms and conditions of the replacement guarantee apply.
6. Confidentiality
Both the Agency and the Client agree to keep all information shared confidential.
The Client may not disclose candidate information to third parties without prior consent from the Agency.
7. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding their requirements, expectations, and working conditions.
The Client is responsible for all employment contracts, compliance with labour laws, and payment of wages, taxes, and benefits for the nanny.
8. Limitations of Liability
The Agency is not liable for any loss, damage, or misconduct caused by the nanny.
The Client is responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance coverage for their household and the nanny.
9. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time, provided that all outstanding fees are paid in full.
Refunds for services already rendered are not provided.
10. Governing Law
These Guidelines are governed by the laws of Qld, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the legal processes of this jurisdiction.
11. Amendments
The Agency reserves the right to amend these Guidelines at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, if applicable.
